MAPUTO, 2012 EPMAN Workshop
The eighth annual meeting of the African Network for Economic Policy (EPMAN), took place at Hotel Cardoso, in Maputo, between the 15th and 16th of November, 2012. The following African EPM representatives were present at the meeting: EPM of Cocody University from Ivory Coast, EPM of Yaounde II University from the Republic of Cameroun, EPM of Kinshasa from Democratic Republic of Congo, EPM of Ghana University from the Republic of Ghana,EPM of University of Lusaka from the Republic of Zambia. LUSAKA, 2011 EPMAN Workshop
The Seventh EPMAN workshop was held at the Taj Pamodzi hotel in Lusaka from 7-9 September 2011.
The Seventh EPMAN workshop was attended by representatives from four member programmes namely EPM-Yaoundé (Cameroon), EPM-Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of the Congo), EPM-Mozambique and EPM-Zambia.
While Cameroon is among the first generation of EPM programmes in Africa, DRC, Mozambique and Zambia are the newest programmes still in their first phase. [More...]
YAOUNDE, 2010 EPMAN Workshop
From September 20th to 22nd 2010 proceeded with the HILTON Hotel of Yaounde, work of the sixth meeting of the Network of the Training programs in Management of Economic policy (EPMAN).
Were present the delegations of the seven EPM Programs of Africa, delegations led by the persons in charge of their Universities of reception.
The opening ceremony, chaired by the Representative of Mister the Vice-chancellor of the University of Yaounde II, the Professor Paul-Gerard POUGOUE, Vice-rector in charge with the Lesson and the Programs, was followed by the starting of work as plenary sessions. [More...]
Entebbe, 2009 EPMAN Workshop
I do recall our last meeting which I personally attended in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire in 2006 where we made important decisions regarding the structure of the program.
The program duration for each cohort was reduced to one calendar year and the language and inter-ship components were dropped. I am happy to report that Makerere University has already implemented this decision for phase III. [More...]

Abidjan, 2006 EPMAN Workshop
Placed under the effective presidency of the Professor Jean TABI MANGA, Vice-chancellor of the University of Yaounde 2 (Cameroun) and President of the Network of the EPM-Africa Programs, this meeting, organized by the ACBF and the World Bank gathered several personalities of the university world and the Public administration as well as the President of the Association Of the Ivory Coast of EPM graduates. The Economic Policy Management Programs (EPM) at African Partners Universities were established as a a resullt of the transfers of similar programs funded by the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) and the World Bank Institute (WBI) at McGill University (Canada) for English -speaking African countries and at the University of Auvergne (Clermont-Ferrand, France) for Francophone African countries.
