Geographic coverage
African EPM were transferred from the University of McGill and The Centre dEtudes et de Recherche sur le Dveloppement Internationnal, in 1998 with the support of the ACBF and the WBI. This initiative was meant to endow local universities with the capacity to undertake high level professional training in Economic Policy Management. It is expected that these universities develop an appropriation strategy to ensure the programs sustainability and contribute more efficiently to the continents economic development. With 120 scholars every 18 months, admissions to EPM Yaounde, Abidjan, Kinshasa, Accra, Maputo, Makerere and Lusaka is very competitive.
