Instituted at the Department of Economics, University of Ghana, the Economic Policy Management (EPM) is a Masters Degree Programme which is sponsored by the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) and the Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Programme (JJ/WBGSP).
The Department of Economics collaborates with University of Ghana Business School in the deliverance of the 12-month custom-tailored MA degree in Economic Policy Management which entails the study of Economics and Management.
The EPM Programme (EPMP) differs from a standard masters programme in economics in that it is designed exclusively for practitioners who have three or more years of policy relevant experience in government, state corporations or non-governmental organisations. The training is primarily expected to improve and enhance the efficiency of public sector policy analysts and economic managers in Ghana and Anglophone countries of West Africa. To a limited degree, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are eligible.
The EPM Programme is for practitioners who have three or more years of policy relevant experience in government, state corporations or non-governmental organisations.
Admission to the program is based on two stages , eligibility and the final selection.
